Whiffenpoofs and gingerbread men

The other day I got a flyer in the mail for the latest Whiffenpoofs CD. What the hell is a Whiffenpoof? Well, it turns out that it's a group of "14 senior Yale men that are selected to be in the Whiffenpoofs, the world's oldest and best-known collegiate a cappella group." Um, right. I would NEVER be called a Whiffenpoof, which afer much googling, I still can't get a definition of what the word means! How I got on their mailing list I'll never know!

Speaking of google, it's sooo freakin cool! Did you know that 1 troy ounce = 31.1034768 grams? I actually had a use for that today at work. Google to the rescue! The internet IS useful for something other than porn!

Eddy left me for home today. I'm gonna miss him, but we've had some fun times together over the last few days. Last night we had some quite serious conversations ranging from religion to politics to science over a great dinner he brought over. He hasn't done ANY Christmas shopping yet (there is SOME straight left in him) so he gave me an "interim gift" consisting of a list of things entitled "Things I love about Craig." Oh man. It rocked my world!
